SignalCanvasLight offers premium yacht charter experiences, including, without limitation:
- Single-day yacht hires
- Sunset voyages
- Company retreats
- Private functions
- Extended charters
All offerings depend on availability and weather conditions. We may modify or discontinue services at any time.
3. Bookings and Reservations
3.1 Booking Procedure
To reserve a charter, you must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Provide complete and accurate information
- Pay the required deposit as outlined in your booking confirmation
- Accept these Terms and Conditions
3.2 Reservation Confirmation
We confirm your reservation only after receiving payment and sending our written confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
3.3 Availability
Charters depend on vessel availability and favorable weather. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred dates and times.
4. Payment Conditions
4.1 Pricing
All rates are in £ and include applicable taxes unless noted otherwise. Rates may change without prior notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: 50% of the total charter price due at booking
- Balance: Payable 48 hours prior to departure
- Additional charges (if applicable): Due at the end of the charter
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified cheques. Payments are processed using secure, encrypted systems.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Customer-initiated Cancellations
- More than 72 hours before departure: Full refund less processing fees
- 24–72 hours before departure: 50% refund
- Under 24 hours before departure: No refund
5.2 Cancellations Due to Weather
If our captain deems conditions unsafe, we will:
- Reschedule your charter to the next available date at no extra cost
- Issue a full refund if rescheduling is not feasible
5.3 Mechanical Problems
If your assigned vessel experiences mechanical issues, we will attempt to provide a suitable alternative. If no alternative is available, a full refund will be issued.
6. Safety and Behavior
6.1 Safety Requirements
All guests must:
- Follow all crew instructions
- Use provided safety equipment when required
- Disclose any medical conditions that could affect their safety
- Stay within designated areas of the vessel
6.2 Prohibited Items
The following are not allowed on board:
- Glass containers
- Illegal substances
- Firearms or weapons
- Excessive consumption of drinks (beyond reasonable amounts)
- Pets (unless pre-approved)
6.3 Behavior
Guests must behave respectfully. We reserve the right to end a charter early without refund if a guest’s behavior poses a safety risk or disrupts others.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your charter. We are not liable for:
- Injuries arising from guest negligence
- Loss of or damage to personal property
- Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- Delays due to weather or circumstances beyond our control
7.2 Insurance Coverage
We carry comprehensive marine insurance for our vessels and operations. Guests are responsible for their own travel and personal insurance.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
By taking part in our charters, you acknowledge that marine activities involve inherent risks and accept responsibility for your own safety and well-being.
8. Itinerary Changes and Modifications
We may adjust itineraries, routes, or schedules due to weather, safety considerations, or operational needs. We will make every effort to provide comparable alternative experiences.
9. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes resulting from events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Natural disasters
- Government regulations
- Port closures
- Mechanical failures
10. Privacy and Data Protection
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
